Telehealth Consultations
How does telehealth work?
Telehealth allows you to consult with a licensed physician remotely via secure video, audio, or asynchronous messaging. After creating an account, you'll complete a health questionnaire, select your desired service, and schedule or start a consultation. The physician will review your medical history, discuss your goals, and determine if a prescription is appropriate — all from the comfort and privacy of your home.
Who are the physicians?
All physicians on our platform are board-certified, licensed, and credentialed. They practice in the state where you are physically located at the time of your consultation, in compliance with state medical board requirements. Our physicians have experience in the therapeutic areas offered through the platform, including weight management, dermatology, hormone therapy, and preventive medicine.
Is telehealth as effective as an in-person visit?
For many conditions, telehealth provides an equivalent standard of care to in-person visits. However, telehealth has limitations — physicians cannot perform physical examinations, and certain conditions require in-person evaluation. Your physician will let you know if your situation requires an in-person visit or additional testing.
Compounding Pharmacy
What does compounding mean?
Compounding is the process of creating personalized medications tailored to a patient's specific needs. Licensed compounding pharmacists prepare medications by mixing, altering, or combining ingredients according to a physician's prescription. This allows for customized dosages, allergen-free formulations, and medications that are not commercially available. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are exempt from FDA pre-market approval under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
Are compounded medications safe?
Our compounding pharmacy partners are licensed and operate in compliance with state pharmacy board regulations and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards. All compounded medications are prepared pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed physician after an individualized evaluation. While compounded medications are not FDA-approved, they are prepared under strict quality control standards. Your physician will discuss the benefits and risks specific to your prescribed formulation.
Prescriptions
How does the prescription process work?
After your telehealth consultation, if the physician determines a prescription is appropriate, they will issue a prescription directly to our licensed compounding pharmacy partner. The pharmacy will prepare your medication and ship it to your door. You'll receive tracking information via email. Prescriptions are issued solely at the physician's professional discretion — we do not guarantee that any specific medication will be prescribed.
Can I get refills?
Yes, prescription refills are available for ongoing treatments. If you have a subscription, refills are automatically processed after physician authorization. For one-time prescriptions, you can request a refill through your account dashboard. A physician may require a follow-up consultation before authorizing a refill to ensure the treatment remains appropriate for your condition.
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, our services are offered on a cash-pay basis and we do not directly bill insurance. However, we can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt with medical codes) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits. Payment is due at the time of service.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards where applicable. All payments are processed securely through our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Shipping timelines depend on the medication and pharmacy partner. Typically, compounded medications require 3–5 business days for preparation, followed by 2–5 business days for shipping. You will receive an estimated delivery date and tracking information once your prescription is approved and processing. Expedited shipping options may be available for an additional fee. Please note that prescription validation and pharmacy preparation times may vary.
Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 U.S. states where our physicians are licensed to practice. At this time, we do not ship internationally or to U.S. territories. Certain medications may have state-specific shipping restrictions. If a treatment is not available in your state, you will be notified during your consultation.
Subscriptions
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions provide automatic recurring delivery of your prescribed medications at the frequency you select (monthly, quarterly, etc.). You'll receive a reminder email before each shipment, and your physician will authorize each refill. Subscriptions are billed automatically and can be canceled at any time — just cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. Visit
Terms of Service for full subscription terms.
Can I change or pause my subscription?
Yes, you can modify your subscription frequency, pause it, or cancel it through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team. Any changes to your prescription (e.g., dosage adjustments) will require a follow-up consultation with your physician. Paused subscriptions can be resumed at any time, subject to physician re-authorization.
Privacy & HIPAA
How is my health information protected?
We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and maintain strict administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI). All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We use HIPAA-compliant infrastructure (Google Cloud with Business Associate Agreement) and restrict access to PHI on a need-to-know basis. Our full
Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Who has access to my medical information?
Your PHI is accessed only by authorized personnel who need it to provide your care — including your assigned physician, licensed compounding pharmacy partners fulfilling your prescription, and select administrative staff for quality and compliance purposes. We never sell your health information. All third-party vendors who may access PHI are bound by Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) as required by HIPAA.
